Ocracats at the Post Office
A large population of Ocracats (Ocracoke wild cats) live at the post office. Here they were this morning waiting for someone to come and feed them. One kitty made it especially hard to mail letter!

I love the way they move throughout the day - starting out close to the building in the early morning, but then moving out away from it as the day goes on - in order to stay in the sun!
ReplyDeleteI have several photos of that mailbox kitty (as well as many of the other ocracats I get to see when I visit each year).
